A Brief Introduction

President : Christophe Monté
Vice-president : Lionel Morelet
Treasurer : Jean-Claude Cornet

Amicale Spitfire, a society according to the French law of 1901, was formed in 1982 by a group of enthusiasts, and quickly grew and flourished throughout the French world.

The objective has, however, remained the same: to bring together Triumph Spitfire fans (and also those of Heralds, Vitesses and GT6s), to help them to understand, maintain and drive their cars, and to hold local get-togethers, organised by our regional reps.

The experience of the most active members and a substantial technical archive enable the club to effectively advise its members, be they aiming to restore their cars to original specification, or wishing to prepare them for competition.

National gatherings (the Historic Vehicle Show, in June at Montlhery, near Paris) and international ones (the hundreds of Spitfires and GT6s in England in July, and in Holland in September) are also part of the programme. Members receive a quarterly bulletin, and a 'fleet' insurance scheme is proposed.

For now, all fans of old British cars are welcome !
